Used this Bobcat 225 for over two years on pipeline repair work. The arc is smooth for stick welding and the auxiliary power runs my grinder and lights without issue. Fuel efficiency is noticeably better than my old machine thanks to Auto-Speed.
Great welding performance and plenty of generator power for job site tools. Only complaint is the weight—definitely need a trailer or forklift to move it around. Otherwise very reliable.
Been running Millers my whole career and this Bobcat doesn't disappoint. TIG output is clean, stick arc is stable even with long cable runs. Fan-On-Demand really does cut down on noise at idle.
