I weld a lot of pipe in confined spaces and this torch's flex head has saved my wrists. Took a few uses to get used to the pivot point but now I can't go back to a rigid torch for tight joints.
Works exactly as advertised and the flex feature is genuinely useful for overhead and awkward angle welds. After about a year of daily shop use the flex joint got a little loose, but still usable and easy to tighten.
As expected from CK Worldwide, the build quality is excellent. Fits all my existing collets and cups so switching over was painless. Only complaint is the price compared to a standard torch.
Doing custom fabrication means constantly changing angles and this torch adapts instantly. The rubberized grip is comfortable even after hours of continuous welding. Highly recommend the 250A water-cooled version.
Performs well and the flexible head is convenient, but I wish it was priced closer to standard torches. Still, the access it gives you in tight spots is hard to put a price on if that's a regular part of your job.
