I use this for aluminum fabrication on job sites and the auto-line voltage feature is a lifesaver. Arc starts are crisp every time, even on dirty stainless.
As a metal sculptor, the pulse feature and low amperage control let me do incredibly fine detail work on thin gauge steel. Worth every penny.
The welder itself is fantastic, stable arc and easy to transport. My only gripe is the foot pedal and torch cost almost as much as a budget welder itself.
Used this in cold weather conditions on a rural job and it never missed a beat. Duty cycle is solid for root passes.
Great for hobby and light professional use, but if you're running long beads at high amps all day, you'll want a water-cooled setup instead.
