Running it
Lincoln Electric MIG Pliers are built for welders who need a reliable, no-nonsense tool to handle the everyday maintenance tasks that keep a MIG gun running smoothly. Constructed from durable, hardened steel, these pliers are designed to withstand the heat, spatter, and grime that come with constant use in a welding environment. The jaws are precision-machined to grip and remove nozzles and contact tips without slipping or causing damage, while the built-in wire cutter allows for quick, clean trimming of MIG wire before restarting a weld. This combination of functions in one tool eliminates the need to juggle multiple implements at the workstation, saving time and reducing clutter. Ergonomics are clearly a priority in the design of these pliers, as the handles are shaped to provide a comfortable, secure grip even when wearing thick welding gloves. The spring-loaded action reduces hand fatigue during repetitive tasks, and the overall balance of the tool makes it easy to maneuver in tight spaces around the welding gun and torch assembly. Lincoln Electric has also included a hammer-like flat surface on the tool, useful for knocking loose stubborn spatter buildup on the nozzle or knocking parts free without needing a separate tool. This attention to multi-functionality reflects an understanding of the real-world demands placed on welders who need efficient solutions during production runs or repair jobs. Durability and long-term value are also central to the design philosophy behind these MIG pliers. The metal construction resists warping and wear even after repeated exposure to high temperatures and abrasive spatter, ensuring the tool remains functional shift after shift. Lincoln Electric’s reputation for quality in the welding equipment industry is reflected in the reliability of this tool, making it a practical addition to any welder’s toolkit, whether working in a professional fabrication shop, an automotive repair facility, or a home garage. By combining nozzle cleaning, tip removal, and wire cutting into a single well-crafted instrument, these pliers streamline MIG welding maintenance and contribute to a more efficient, uninterrupted workflow.
The Lincoln Electric MIG Pliers are a reliable, well-built tool that combines the essential functions welders need in one compact package. While it has minor limitations with thicker wire cutting and long-term handle wear, its durability and multi-tool convenience make it a solid addition to any welder's toolkit.

I've been using these pliers for months now on my MIG setup. The spatter removal tip works great and the nozzle grip is strong. Saves me from carrying multiple tools.
Does exactly what it says - cuts wire, cleans nozzles, pulls tips. My only complaint is the rubber grip started peeling after about 6 months of daily shop use.
Not the fanciest tool but gets the job done. The wire cutter struggles a bit with .045 wire but works fine for smaller gauges. Overall happy with the purchase.
This has become one of those tools I reach for constantly. Well balanced, sturdy, and the jaw grip on the nozzle is surprisingly strong even after repeated use.
