Bought this for my home shop and it handles everything from thin auto body panels to thicker steel brackets. The multi-process switch is seamless and setup is quick with the chart on the inside door.
Works great for my farm repairs. Only wish it had a 230V option for thicker material, but for 120V it performs better than expected.
This is my first welder and the digital display and simple controls made learning easy. TIG mode works well once you get a torch, and MIG is smooth on sheet metal.
I use this for small fabrication jobs around my property. It's compact enough to carry around and the aluminum wire drive feels durable. Fan noise is a bit much but not a dealbreaker.
