Been welding aluminum boat parts with this machine for months. AC balance control makes a huge difference in cleaning action. Very happy with the purchase.
Took a bit to dial in the pulse settings but once I did, my welds improved dramatically. Good machine for the price, though the manual could be clearer.
Using it for stainless exhaust work and thin steel. HF start is smooth and reliable. Fan noise is noticeable but not a dealbreaker.
Compared this against a much pricier brand and honestly couldn't tell much difference in weld quality on aluminum. Digital display is easy to read and adjust.
Machine itself welds great, but my foot pedal had some inconsistent response initially. Customer service helped resolve it, so overall still satisfied.
