Been running this Fabricator 252i daily for over a year in my fab shop. Arc stability is excellent on both MIG and stick, and it hasn't skipped a beat despite heavy use.
Love having MIG, stick, and TIG in one machine. The only downside is the digital display could be more precise for fine-tuning amperage on thin sheet metal.
Compared to some big-name competitors, this ESAB unit punches above its weight. Setup was straightforward and the dual voltage input is a huge plus for my mobile rig.
Handles everything from thin gauge sheet metal to thicker structural steel repairs. Very happy with the purchase and the customer support from ESAB was helpful too.
Performance is great, but moving it around the shop is a workout. Wish it had better portability features given its otherwise solid design.
