Bought this for fixing up an old trailer and it worked great. Easy to set up, ran on my house outlet with no issues. Welds came out clean once I dialed in the settings.
As a beginner, this was very approachable. The controls are simple and I got decent welds within an hour of practice. Wish the duty cycle was a bit higher for longer projects.
Used it to patch some rust spots on my truck bed. Handles thin sheet metal well. Not meant for thick steel but does exactly what it's advertised for.
Welder itself runs fine and gets the job done on small projects, but the MIG gun that comes with it feels a little flimsy. Might upgrade that part eventually.
