Bought this for my home shop and it welded 1/8" steel like butter. The high-frequency start is smooth and tungsten lasts a lot longer than my old machine.
Does everything I need for steel and stainless fabrication. Only downside is no aluminum capability, which I didn't realize until after purchase.
Digital display makes it easy to dial in settings. Foot pedal control works well once you get used to it. Fan is a bit loud but not a dealbreaker.
The pulse function helped me weld thin stainless tubing without warping. For the price, this thing performs like a much more expensive unit.
