Switched from a basic flux-core unit to this and the difference is night and day. The digital display helps a ton when tuning in settings for different metal thicknesses.
Works great on 220V for thicker steel. The stock MIG gun is okay but I upgraded to a better one after a few months. Still, can't complain for the price.
Been running this on car panel repairs and small fabrication projects. Handles thin gauge sheet metal nicely without much burn-through once you get the settings dialed in.
Used it for stick welding on a fence repair and MIG on a trailer build. Having multiple processes in one machine saved me from buying separate units.
Performance is good but the fan is definitely loud, runs nonstop even at idle. Welding results are solid though, no complaints there.
