We use this on pipeline jobs and it just keeps going. The arc is smooth on stick and the generator side powers our grinders and lights without any issue.
Output is fantastic for thick steel work, but moving this unit around the yard takes real planning. Needed a trailer to keep it mobile.
Switched from a smaller engine driven unit and the difference in duty cycle and power is night and day. Diesel efficiency has also cut our fuel costs noticeably.
Took our new welders a bit of time to get comfortable with all the settings, but once dialed in the weld quality and consistency have been excellent.
