Ive run this Bobcat 250 for three years on fencing and equipment repair jobs. Starts every time, welds clean, and the generator side powers my grinders and lights without issue.
Welding performance is excellent across stick and MIG. Only downside is how heavy it is to move without a trailer setup, but that's expected for this class.
We use two of these on pipeline punch-out work. The Fan-On-Demand feature really cuts down noise and fuel burn during idle periods between welds.
Beyond welding, the 11,000-watt generator runs our job site trailer, lights, and power tools simultaneously without dropping voltage. Very dependable machine.
This is my second Bobcat and it hasn't let me down. Parts are easy to find and any welding shop can service it if needed.
